FYI – Responses to Email and Summer Schedule

To everyone who has been commenting on our blog – sorry for the delayed responses to your comments! Brad and I both have full time jobs and have been really busy with those as of late, so we haven’t gotten to keep up with responding to comments as fast as we’d like.

If you’ve requested to be added to our evites, we’ve gone ahead and added you, we just haven’t had the time to email each of you back to confirm that we’ve done that yet.

So…thanks for your patience and understanding!

Summer Schedule: Because of how hectic the summer has been, we haven’t had the time to schedule a July game…if we’re able to, we definitely will – and we’ll post that information here as well as send out our regular evite.

August/September there probably won’t be any paintball games as we’ll be a little preoccupied with the birth of our first “future paintballer.” Once October rolls around, be prepared to see regular games coming once a month since we haven’t had the chance to play much this year, and due to my “condition” I’ve been outlawed by my Doctors from playing.

Thanks again – and we hope to get better, and more regular, again with communicating through this blog!

Cheers,
Jen & Brad

Spring Cleaning

Over the next week or so we will be working to re-vamp the look and feel of this blog, as well as add a few new features and contact information. Please excuse the mess while we’re in the midst of making these changes.

As always, you can contact us by leaving a comment on any of the posts, and we’ll email you back as soon as we can.

Thanks!
-Jen

Great Game!

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday (in the 92 degree heat no less!) to play at Hogback Mountain! If you’d like to be added to our official evite list, please leave a comment on this blog post and just indicate you’d like to be added to our evite list going forward and we’ll be sure to do that.

Next Game: We’re booked every weekend in May right now, so we’re aiming for a game either the second or third week in June, and will send out an evite in the next 2-3 weeks with that information.

Thanks again to everyone who made yesterday’s game a success! We’ll see you in June!

End of April/Early May Games

Guys, sorry we’ve so busy the past month or so and haven’t been able to schedule any games. We’ve either been out of town, or had so many things going on during the weekends we haven’t been able to fit any paintball in. (Thanks to Shawn in Fredericksburg who invited our crew to one of his games, the folks who made it out had a great time!)

As of today we’re looking at a game at Hogback the last Saturday of April, or the second Saturday of May, and I’m hoping to get that confirmed and scheduled within the next week (I promise). An evite will go out to everyone, as well as an announcement on this blog.

Thanks for your patience!

Now that winter is almost over…

It’s time to think about suiting up again and getting back on the paintball field!  Please stay tuned in the next few weeks for a game annoucement for mid-to-late March at Hogback.

To those of you commenting – my apologies for taking so long to get back to you, it’s amazing how much spam we get hit with, and I just haven’t had the time to filter through all of it to get to the legit questions and get back to you!  I hope to get better at that in the coming months.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in March!

Can we get our game on?

We hope so!  It’s been far too long since we’ve been able to accumulate 8 people brave enough to play a little paintball.

Come join us at Hogback Mountain on November 22nd for a private game, and a ton of fun!

Hope to see you all there!  Check back for more updates closer to the game.

Saturday’s Game Canceled

We’ve had to cancel yet another game because too many people were afraid of getting a little wet from the rain.

Hopefully it’ll be a dry October…stay tuned, we’ll be announcing that game soon.

Finally! A game in September!

After many, many months of no paintball, we’re finally able to spend a weekend playing!  Saturday, September 27th is the day to be at Hogback Mountain.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there.  If you’re new and have any questions, please feel free to drop us an email or leave a comment (the spam filter at WordPress has gotten better, so hopefully none of your emails will go to spam going forward.)

See you soon!

Apologies (and we are still alive!)

I wanted to apologize for a lack of posts since May – AND no paintball games!  We’re still alive, Brad and I have just been very busy, and out of town the majority of the summer.  Believe me, we’re dying to play paintball as soon as we can.

We’ll be setting up a game for late September soon, so please check back in the next few weeks (if you’re not already on our evite) and we’ll be announcing the date and time.

Note regarding lack of responses to comments: If you’re new and have left us a comment on our blog, and haven’t received a response from me, my apologies.  This blog has gotten a lot more popular than I ever thought and we get hundreds of spam a day.  Unfortunately, the down side of having a good spam filter is that sometimes it catches your comments and it takes me awhile (when I have the free time!) to go through all of them and see which ones are actually comments, and not spam.

I’m considering setting up a contact email address for this blog…so please stay tuned on that as well, for now, please keep commenting.

We’re looking forward to seeing you guys in September!
