Northern Virginia Paintball

Alright folks, we’re one week away from our June paintball game at Hogback Mountain and it looks like we have a good sized crew coming; 20 people, and with that, a bunch of new folks.

Since it’s going to be hot out remember to:

* Wear light layers (or be hard-core like Jaws and just wear a t-shirt and shorts ).

* Put sunscreen on; we’ll be in the woods most of the time, but the sun does reach you. (And I’ll be bringing extra in case you forget.)

* Hydrate! We can get water there, but it doesn’t hurt to bring your own bottle with you initially. The last thing you want to do is get de-hydrated.

The game starts at 1:30, maybe a little earlier if we can get checked in and all our gear in time; please show up at the field at 12:30 so that you can pay, get your marker/mask, etc. and get our safety briefing so we can start on time.

Brad and I will have our cell’s on us up until 12:30 in case you need to call us, but reception is spotty in Leesburg. (Also, just a tip - there’s only 1 gas station in the area and it’s cash only (makes no sense in the year 2007, I know), but you may want to make sure you have enough gas to get there and back before heading out.

Lastly (for now!) we’re playing rain or shine…but I will keep this site updated up until the day of in case we have any updates or messages we need to communicate to you guys. As always, if you have any questions, just email us or leave a comment on this site!

Between our site getting more hits, our regulars talking about our games and bringing friends, and the constant paintball-talk Brad & I do to total strangers, I thought it might be nice to do a quick post for anyone new checking out this site!

Our upcoming game(s) are located at the right of the page (and under “Upcoming Events”), and we have a ton of information listed under “Newcomers” and “About Us” at the top of the screen for anyone new who wants to find out more information.

If you have any questions and would prefer to contact one of us (Brad or Jen), just drop us a comment on any of the posts (I’ll get a notification with your email - you don’t need to post it in your comment.) and I’ll email you back with 24-hours.

It looks like our games June - August will be played 1/2 days at Hogback Mountain in Leesburg - so now is the perfect time to try paintball out for the first time, invite some friends, or get back in to the fun of it.

Anyone can come out - we play beginner-to-intermediate games, so no crazy-supped up paintball markers or professionals, please! Bring your friends, wife/husband, girlfriend/boyfriend, kids…whatever!

…a new paintball gun as a wedding anniversary present. Yep, I finally have my own now! (Just had to share with all you guys that come with us regularly and ask me when I’m going to get my own gun.)
