D-Day is Hogback’s longest running Annual Game, and their most popular Event.  (Last time Brad and a few friends went they had a blast.)

Purchase your D-Day Tickets by 10:00pm Sunday June 1st (which is THIS SUNDAY) for only $10.00!

You may purchase tickets online at Hogback’s website, or by calling 703-777-0057 OR at Check-It Paintball Stores.

After June 1st tickets are $15 each, or $20 the day of the event.

Rental equipment will be available to use.

Hogback will be raffling off prizes like Tippman markers and other surprises!

In addition, the Pro-Shop will be having a sale that day, so make sure to check it out!

We have a HUGE crowd coming out this time! It’s actually the biggest group we’ve had in the past 2-3 years, so this should be exciting.

Quick note about the weather:  According to Weather.com there is a slight chance of rain - we will play, rain or shine.  :) 

Please be on time, we want to be playing by 1:30pm - so make sure to show up early so you can get signed in, get your paintball gun checked, rent any gear, etc. Hogback requires a waiver to be signed; you can fill it out at the field, or you can print it off online and fill it out at home so you save a few minutes when you get there.

Please remember this is a beginner to intermediate game.  If you have your own gun with a double trigger or any other high-tech additions that allow you to play much more advanced than our new folks with their rental equipment,  we ask that you please tone it down. We like our new folks to keep coming back because they enjoyed themselves and had fun; getting sprayed with 60 balls a second isn’t all that fun to most of us.

Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt - April 6th

Check In: 9am

Safety Brief: 10am

Lunch Break: 1pm

Game Ends: 5pm

Every other game will be with the Crazy Easter Bunny - He’s equipped with a paintball gun and he’s ready to protect his eggs. For each egg stolen from the Easter Bunny, a prize will be awarded.

There will be multiple groups based on skill level.

Prices for the tickets are as follows:

Now through March 28th: $10.00

March 29th - April 5th: $15.00

April 6th (day of event): $20.00

Since Decembers game was the last game of the year, I thought it’d be nice to do a little “year in review” of this years past games/honorable mentions. Unfortunately we didn’t record anything (because I hadn’t started this site yet!) for our games from Feb. - Apr., so I apologize about that.

Check out this past years Hard Core, Best Run and New Folks honorable mentions! Thank you to all who came out, became regulars, invited new folks again and again, and for making our games so much fun every month. We look forward to 2008 and all the paintball we’ll play then!

Details:

On his way back to the North Pole, Santa crashes his sleigh, spreading gifts all over the fields of Hogback Mountain Paintball.  The Grinch gets word of the crash and he is on his way to collect all of the gifts and thus ruin Christmas.  It is up to Santa and his team of elves to find the gifts first and fight off the Grinch and his minions.

Check in: 8:30am

Game Ends: 5:00pm

Tickets are $15 or $20 at the gate on the 29th.

Field Paint Only - $15 for 500.

We all had a blast today playing paintball in the snow (and mostly mud). Thank you to everyone who came out!!

UPDATE:  Pics are up!  Just scroll down and click the link under “Photos” (to the right).  These are just the pictures taken with my camera - as soon as I get the ones that I took from Falak’s camera I’ll post those as well.

For those of you that didn’t attend the game, we’re not attacking poor Ami on the ground, we’re helping her up out of the mud after Brad slipped and took her down with him. 

We’re still playing paintball this weekend. Just in case any of you were wondering. Bundle up, it’s gonna be a cold one!

UPDATE: And yes, rain or not we are going to be out there at Hogback to play; as long as everyone else doesn’t wimp out!

This will be the last paintball game of the year and I hope everyone is looking forward to it!

It’ll be chilly (highs in the mid-40’s), so layer up and don’t forget gloves if you don’t already play with them.
